The Madison County commissioners proclaimed April as Child Abuse Prevention Month. A Child Abuse Prevention Carnival is set for 5 to 8 p.m. April 20 in the Della Selsor Building at the Madison County Fairgrounds, 205 Elm St., London. The family-friendly event is free and features games, prizes, door prizes, face painting, balloon animals, vendors and food.
