Wildermuth and Zwayer win at State Fair

 
 Jodi Wildermuth of Canal Winchester exhibited the Champion Corriedale Market Lamb at the 2008 Ohio State Fair. She competed against 258 other exhibitors with 720 market lambs to win this honor. Mid-States Livestock Supplies; Merial Co., Inc.; and Starmaster Feeds purchased Wildermuth’s lamb for $11 per pound. Wildermuth is the daughter of Jerry and Gina Wildermuth and a member of the Groveport Buttoneers 4-H Club.
 
 Jake Zwayer, 17, a 10 year member of the Groveport Buttoneers 4-H Club, won the State Arc Welding Contest at the Ohio State Fair where he represented Franklin County in the welding competition. He was awarded an AC/DC welder by the Lincoln Welding Company, one of the sponsors of the competition. Zwayer also won the Clock Trophy in welding and will go on to represent Ohio at the National 4-H Engineering Science and Leadership event Sept. 28-30 in West Lafayette, Ind.
