When London resident Drew Reeves began learning the art of sheep showmanship a year ago, his go-to move to get the animal under control was a headlock. Now, after lots of education and practice, he can call himself a champion showman, having earning first place in the 11-year-old division at this year’s sheep show.
Mackenzie Reeves placed first in the 12- and13-year-old division of the sheep show.
Addison Sims of London impresses the judge with her sheep handling skills. The 12-year-old and member of the Born in a Barn 4-H Club has been showing since she was 7 years old.
