The first half of the 210-mile, 47th annual Tour of the Scioto River Valley (TOSRV) bicycle tour began May 10 under bright blue skies, but ended the next day under a canopy of rain. Over 2,800 cyclists began the Columbus to Portsmouth and back to Columbus journey with the route passing through southern Franklin County along Rohr (shown here) and Pontius roads and Walnut Creek Pike. The TOSRV, which began as a father-son weekend outing, is the nation’s largest bicycle touring weekend.
