Bicyclists are pictured here on West Columbus Street pedaling out of Canal Winchester early in the morning on May 18 at the start of the 58th annual Tour of the Scioto River Valley. It’s estimated about 1,000 riders participated in the tour cycling to Portsmouth and then completing the tour by returning to Canal Winchester on May 19. It’s the second year Canal Winchester hosted the cycling event.
