West Columbus resident and long-time VOICEcorps volunteer Mike Schirtzinger will visit the reading service to connect with young elementary-aged students of the Ohio State School for the Blind during an upcoming “Morning Exchange” live broadcast at 11 a.m. to noon on VOICEcorps, Thursday, Dec. 13. The annual broadcast has been a tradition going back more than 20 years.
‘Santa’ speaks with the students about their thoughts on the upcoming holiday and asks about their favorite cookies and toys. Some of the students also tell Santa about the gifts they hope to receive.
