Garrette Park in West Jefferson is dressed up for the holidays. Volunteers with Christmas in the Park, an extension of the West Jefferson Community Association, have decked out the trees, buildings, and hand-painted cutout figurines with hundreds of thousands of lights. Visitors are welcome to drive by or walk through the park to enjoy the display which will be lit nightly from 5 to 10 p.m. through Jan. 2. The park is located at 3 Fellows Ave. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the holiday display.
