West Jeff July 4th Streetfest in pictures

West Jefferson’s July 4th Streetfest took place July 2-4 in downtown West Jefferson. The festivities included a parade, live music, rides, games, concessions, and fireworks.

At 98.5 years old, Betty Garver of West Jefferson is ready for the West Jefferson July 4th Streetfest parade to begin on July 3. She is surrounded by her grandson, Preston Dineen, son, Ron Garver, and daughter, Sharon Garver.
The West Jefferson High School marching band marches in the parade. They stopped in the center to town to play the National Anthem.
Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7005 color guard lead the parade down Main Street. The VFW is very instrumental in sponsoring the West Jefferson Streetfest.
The West Jefferson Ox Roast Royalty, including Queen Madison Myers, was a part of the Streetfest parade.

Members of the American Legion Post 201 honor guard fire a volley of shots at the conclusion of opening ceremonies for the 2021 West Jefferson July 4th Streetfest. The ceremonies followed the parade.
