West Jeff ekes out 56-54 win over Northridge

West Jefferson hosted Northridge in a non-league game on Feb. 11.  The Roughriders came away with the win with a score of 56-54. West Jefferson (11-7 overall and 8-7 in the league) will travel to Fairbanks on Feb. 14 and host Horizon Science on Feb. 19 to end their regular season. In the OHSAA tournament, the Riders will play at the winner of North Union – Amanda Cleercreek on Feb. 28.

Josh Hahn goes up for the winning basket to put West Jefferson ahead of Northridge 55-54 with seconds remaining in the game. West Jefferson added another free throw to win the game 56-54. Hahn finished with 8 points for the Roughriders.
