It was a busy night for kicker Dmitriy Prokhnevskiy in West Jefferson’s Nov. 9 matchup with West Liberty-Salem in the Division V regional semi-finals. The Roughrider junior contributed eight extra points and nine kickoffs to West Jefferson’s 56-24 victory. After taking care of business with a 56-24 victory Nov. 9 in Urbana over West Liberty-Salem, West Jefferson Head Coach Shawn Buescher was ready for the next game. The Roughriders left the Division V regional semi-finals with a record of 12-0.
West Jefferson had a lot to cheer about after a 56-24 win over West Liberty- Salem on Nov. 9 in Urbana. West Jefferson’s Zach Williams rushes 21 yards for a first down early in the second half on a drive that would end with Pearson taking it in from six yards out. The seniors amassed 119 rushing yards on the team’s way to a 56-24 victory over West Liberty-Salem in the Division V regional semi-finals. All smiles.
