Web Extra: West Jefferson football vs. Maria Stein Marion Local

  Going into the Division 5 regional finals, both the West Jefferson Roughriders and the Maria Stein Flyers were 12-0.

The Flyers left the field at Troy Memorial Stadium Nov. 16 with one more win to their name, and the Roughriders’ stellar season came to an end.

Maria Stein held West Jefferson to 67 yards rushing. West Jefferson quarterback D.J. Mendenhall was nine for 22 for 102 yards passing with two interceptions. The final score was 24-0.
