Previous experience in public office: I was elected to village council in West Jefferson in l981.
Education/military experience: Jefferson Local School District, 1960-1970. Southeastern High School graduate 1973. Capital University Para-Legal Program. Franklin University – Real Estate Licensing. Currently studying for Florida Real Estate Broker Exam.
Community activities and honors: Past member of West Jefferson Community Businessmen’s Association, past member of Friends of the Library, Madison County Realtor of the Year Award 1992, member Madison County Chamber of Commerce, founder and president of Madison County Realty Association, member of West Jefferson Athletic Boosters, Columbus Board of Realtors (member and board of directors), National Association of Realtors, Ohio Association of Realtors
What would you like to accomplish if elected? It is such an honor to be the first woman running for Jefferson Township trustee. I hope to bring my real estate knowledge to the table as well as improve communications between the trustees and the community. The continued growth of our community is a vital concern and I look forward to assisting our county commissioners as a voice of the citizens of Jefferson Township.
Rudolph E. (Rudy) Denes

Occupation: Self-employed, Denes Tree Farm Ltd.
Previous experience in public office: Presently serving as Jefferson Township trustee, current chairman of the board. Serving since 2002.
Education/military experience: Attended school in Elyria (Lorain County), Ohio. Continuing education at OSU. Served two years in U.S. Army and two years active reserve.
Community activities/honors: Vice president and executive committee, Madison County Hospital Board. Past president, West Jefferson Community Association. Ox Roast meat and sandwich coordinator. West Jefferson Business Council. Chamber of Commerce. Assisted in developing community park and walking track. Member of County Trustees Association. Building committee, Sts. Simon and Jude Church, lay lector of church.
What would you like to accomplish if elected? Continue to provide a professional fire department. Maintain good township roads and provide a caring environment for our five township cemeteries. Prudent fiscal township management. Monitor orderly commercial and residential growth.
Tod E. Elfrink

Occupation: Builder/land developer. Co-owner of Elboco Inc.

Education/military experience: 1979 graduate of West Jefferson High School. Two-year technical degree in carpentry from Tolles Technical Center.
Community activities/honors: Member of West Jefferson Business Association. WJYAA volunteer – putting up goal posts, helping to establish playing fields. Involved in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.
What would you like to accomplish if elected? I would like to see more solid growth and development for the village, along with obtaining new businesses for the village. I would also like to keep open communications between the village, township and the county. If elected, I would make sure I am a voice for the people and to assure public safety.
