Pickerington North High School theater students performed a skit as Violet Township residents from the early 1900s who made plans to move a house under shadow of night to make way for Pickerington’s new Carnegie Library. The skit was part of Violet Township’s bicentennial kick off held Feb. 13 at Pickerington Central. A history of Violet Township including its canals, railroad system and early schools were also presented. For information on future bicenntennial events visit www.violetbicentennial.com
