Through the search firm Finding Leaders, the Reynoldsburg City School Board of Education has identified the final two individuals to interview for district Superintendent. The candidates are:
•Melvin Brown, district deputy superintendent, Cuyahoga Falls City Schools;
•David Stewart, deputy superintendent, South-Western City Schools.
“Both of our final two candidates have the specific characteristics identified by our community to act as our next Superintendent,” said Reynoldsburg Board of Education President Joe Begeny. “I look forward to continuing the conversation with representatives of the community to select the best individual for the role.”
“It has been a great experience working with the Reynoldsburg Board of Education and the school community in the search process for the next superintendent,” said Ed Vittardi, consultant for Finding Leaders. “The profile that was developed in partnership with the community has helped generate exceptional candidates for the Board to consider. It is exciting that the next step includes those selected stakeholders from the Reynoldsburg community engaging with the two finalists.”
Final interviews will be held April 3 and 4 in the board’s executive session meeting. The board hopes to have a decision by the end of that week.
