Twenty-nine apply for Groveport Madison superintendent job

At their May 2 meeting, the Groveport Madison Schools Board of Education received an update from K12 Business Consulting Inc., regarding the search for the district’s next superintendent. According to the search firm’s president, Chris Mohr, they have received applications from 29 individuals expressing interest to fill the Groveport Madison superintendent vacancy. Of those 29, eight will be interviewed by the board. The list of applicants includes:

•Todd D Boggs, Superintendent, Osnaburg Local Schools
•James T. Campbell, Assistant Superintendent, Tri-Valley Local Schools
•Matthew W. Crispin, Superintendent, Fredericktown Local Schools
•Dr. Reva C. Cosby, Superintendent, Mount Healthy Schools
•Kacey Cottrill, Superintendent, Caldwell Exempted Village Schools
•Michael Diamond, Director of Human Resources, North Olmsted City Schools
•Dr. Jason M. Eitner, Proprietor, Eitner Education, New Jersey
•James Grube, C.O.O./President, META Solutions, Columbus
•Martha Hasselbusch, Teacher, One Donham Plaza, Middletown

“We have received interest from several very talented administrators from around Ohio as well as from out of state, which speaks well for your district,” said Mohr. “Based on the initial vetting of the candidates’ work history, skills and accumulated experience in educational leadership positions, we have identified eight applicants that we believe most closely match the Superintendent Search Profile that was developed through extensive input from the Groveport Madison community.”

The list of recommended candidates includes:

After considering the recommendation, the Board of Education unanimously voted to accept the recommendation, and directed K12 Business Consulting to contact the candidates to set up initial interviews. The Board has scheduled the evenings of May 9 and 10 to begin the interview process. All interviews with the Board of Education will take place in Executive Session.
