On Oct. 21, dozens of creatures across the region descended upon Town Center Dentistry in Grove City as the dental practice teamed up with the NovoCaine Lounge to host the first annual Cars and Cocktails Truck-or-Treat event. Billed as a unique experience for children and adults alike, it was equal parts a classic car show, a light happy hour for adults, and a place to score some delicious treats in a safe place prior to the traditional trick-or-treat night. “We just wanted to put on a different event that the entire community could enjoy,” said Dr. John Dubos. Shown here immensely enjoying the festivities are Wyatt Yantis (left) and Kamden Baum. Although the boys did not know each other prior to this event, they became fast friends, bonding over their love of balloon swords and comic book superheroes.

Drs. John and Lisa Dubos have fun with their dog Archie at the event. As fans of “Top Gun”, the trio came dressed as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, a flight instructor, and a call sign that says, “Talk to Me, Goose.” Lisa joked that they wanted to dress Archie as an airplane but could not find the right parts in time.
