Due to inclement weather on Feb. 12, the public meeting to discuss to future development of the Grove City Town Center was postponed.
The meeting will now be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, in Rooms 177 and 178 in Park Street Intermediate School, 3205 Park St. Attendees will have the opportunity to observe a presentation and to provide input to City officials as well as representatives from the planning and architectural firm, Lincoln Street Studio, and the market research firm of Boulevard Strategies.
The presentation will cover the strategic approach for the project which includes asset-based planning, emphasizing the community’s existing character; the scope of the project as it pertains to the current business vitality including economic development strategy; the land-use vision addressing existing and potential elements as well as zoning and redevelopment requirements; traffic and parking components; and a greater urban design plan. It will conclude with information on how those interested in the project can contribute their input through interviews, surveys, and public forums.
