Todd Schiff is rounding second base and heading for home after a grand slam that helped bring his class of 1988 team back from a 14-5 deficit to tying it up, then going ahead 16-14. The class of 1986 team was making a last inning run when Shiff caught the final out to seal the deal. The two teams squared off during the weekend of July 24-25 for the annual Grove City Alumni Softball Tournament.
Scott Duff, of the class of 1988, collides with 86 alum Russ Finley during the Grove City Alumni Softball Tournament match-up in the 45+ division.
Class of 2004 alum Jessica Weber connects for a hit in the bottom of the seventh inning to become the go ahead run in a Ladies Classic match up with the combined classes of 1990, 1991, and 1992. Weber would then make the tie breaking trip across the plate with the help of an RBI by teammate Stephanie Boden.
