Daylin Fraley playfully tumbles onto a new mattress while carrying his football as his mother, Caitlynn Fraley (left) and father David Fraley (holding Daylin’s brother Braylon) look on. The family was shopping for a new mattress at the Canal Winchester Touchdown Club’s mattress fundraiser at Winchester Trail Elementary on March 9. Parker Boveroux of Just Get Sleep said a percentage of the mattress sales at the event go to the Canal Winchester Touchdown Club to support the Canal Winchester football program. “A lot of school fundraisers sell things like candy, which are sugar based,” said Boveroux. “This mattress fundraiser is health and wellness based. People support this fundraiser because they need a mattress and they believe in the Canal Winchester Touchdown Club.” This was the third year for the mattress fundraiser and 38 mattresses were sold at last year’s event.
