Time to celebrate

In March, Go Groveport and the Bierberg Mercantile are hosting one event that centers on the celebration of a wedding with the second annual Groveport Bridal & Formal Affair on March 8; and one event that celebrates our first birthday at the Bierberg Mercantile on March 15.

Groveport Bridal & Formal Affair

This affair is a small, intimate bridal event complete with approximately 25 vendors locally from the Groveport and surrounding area.

Because the vendors are local to the area, a busy bride doesn’t have to travel far for appointments, leaving her time to work on other plans for her big day. Also included at this bridal event, no two vendors offer the same types of business so a bride doesn’t have to be so overwhelmed in her selection process. Finally, this event offers each bride an opportunity to spend some quality time talking with the vendors about their needs and building a relationship with a potential contributor to her special day.

Confirmed vendors include those from the following businesses: All About Me Embroidery & Alterations, Allen Travel Services, AVON, Best Western Canal Winchester Inn, Elizabeth Ann Studios (custom jewelry), First Service Federal Credit Union, Front Page Entertainment (dj), Health First Chiropractic, Jens Sweet Simplicity (cake decorator), Lancaster Fair Photo Shop (photography), Lia Sophia (costume jewelry), Mary Kay, Men’s Warehouse Tux, Pampered Chef, Papa Joe’s Banquet Room, Posh Nosh Catering, Priceless Moments by Design, Princess House (china and crystal), Shear Art Salon & Day Spa, State Farm Insurance, Tupperware, Uniquely Yours (bridal gowns), Won Heart (wedding officiate).

Looking for a prom gown? Cash and carry gowns available onsite. Choose from over 60 gowns in sizes 2-24, prices starting at $40. Dyeable shoes available also.

Join us on March 8 from 10 a.m. to  2 p.m. at Papa Joe’s Banquet room at The Links at Groveport Golf Course, 1005 Richardson Road, Groveport.  

The first 50 brides attending will receive the Fall/Winter copy of Columbus Bride. All brides are eligible for entry in the door prize drawing for a gift basket from Baskets n Boughs, valued at over $100.

Happy birthday Bierberg Mercantile!

We’re having a birthday party to celebrate our first year at the Mercantile! Join us on March 15 from 10 a.m. to  2 p.m. as we celebrate our birthday complete with cake, balloons and prizes!

•Monday, March 10 – 50 percent off any $12 and over embroidered item for the first five customers courtesy of All About Me Embroidery.

Join Angie Cox, Creative Memories representative, on March 20 at 7 p.m. as she presents "Scrapbook 101."  Angie will cover the three types of scrapbooking: traditional, easy slide-in and digital. Attendees can bring a few pictures to try out some techniques.
