Plain City’s Christmas Under the Clock, held Dec. 7, offered up a variety of ways to get into the holiday spirit.

Rue Arendt (right) sings “In the Bleak Midwinter,” a traditional English Christmas carol. Rue performed alongside her sisters, Harmony, Leslie and Gemma (left) Arendt; they are from Lafferty Pike, a bluegrass band from South Charleston. At the performance, each sister wore traditional clothing to represent a different culture’s Christmas celebration. Rue’s costume comes from the Greek island of Corfu.
