The sound of laughter will once again fill the Violet Grange Hall, located at 36 Lockville Road in downtown Olde Pickerington, as Pickerington Community Theatre, by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., presents Neil Simon’s "Fools" Oct. 10-12.

"Fools" tells the story of a young man named Leon Tolchinsky, who has been hired to become the schoolmaster of Kulyenchikov in the Ukraine.

Upon arriving and meeting some of the townspeople, Leon quickly discovers that there is a little something off about the village.

Upon further investigation, Leon learns that there was a curse placed on all those in Kulyenchikov more than 200 years ago. The curse causes all of those in Kulyenchikov to live their lives in complete ignorance. Leon is about to give up and leave town when he meets Sophia Zubritsky and falls hopelessly in love with her.

Curtain times are 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors, students and children. Tickets will be available at the door or by calling (614) 863-1861 to reserve tickets.

This will be the final show presented by PCT at the Violet Grange Hall.
