| This is a photo from the early 1900s of the Commercial Hotel which stood in Canal Winchester from 1852 to 1963. The building was located on the south bank of the Ohio and Erie Canal on the east side of South High Street. The building was torn down to make way for the Huntington Bank which still occupies the site. Standing in the foreground of the photo are Elwood Sarber, Ben Himrod, and Jim Dressler. |
