This is a view of the Ohio and Erie Canal in Canal Winchester, from either the late 19th century or early 20th century, looking west from approximately High Street. At right is the Whitehurst & Carty Warehouse, that operated from 1843 to 1901, which sat on the site later occupied by the interurban depot located behind what is now the iBeam Solutions building. At left, the canal towpath can be seen winding along the canal.
