The VTWL will host its 15th annual luncheon and style show at 11 a.m. on April 26 at the Tall Timbers Banquet and Conference Center, 3831 National Road SW in Reynoldsburg. The event kicks off with the selling of raffle tickets.

“We have between 150 and 175 baskets that we will be raffled off during this event,” said Donna Brozovich, style show coordinator. “Each basket is worth $50 or more.”

Some of the baskets to be raffled off include a 31 gifts basket, a specialty coffee basket, a picture basket and snack baskets.

“All the items in the baskets were donated the community and our members,” Brozovich said. “To try to win one of the baskets you must purchase raffle tickets.”

Raffle tickets are 12 for $10 or $1 each.

At the luncheon and style show, guests can admire the hottest trends in women’s and men’s spring and summer work, leisure and sports fashion.

All the clothes worn by the models are from Elder-Beerman in Lancaster and are available for in-store purchase.

With the theme of “Celebrating American Youth” the event will have an Americana summer feel.

“All the proceeds from the event will go towards three $2,000 scholarships for seniors in the Pickerington/Violet Township school system,” Brozovich said. “Your parents do not have be a members of our organization to win the scholarship, so anyone eligible is encouraged to apply.”

The scholarships will help area students pay for their college education.

Tickets to the luncheon and style show are $27 each can be purchased by contacting Donna Brozovich at (614) 316-6188.

“We are helping our children to pay some of these college expenses and ensure that they are college bound,” Brozovich said. “So, come to this fun event and maybe win a basket and help some kids become college bound.”

With more 275 people expected to attend, guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets as soon as possible.
