Amy DeGraw, a fifth grade teacher at Galloway Ridge Intermediate School, and her daughter Emily Jones, a student-teacher in Xenia, attended a taping of the Price is Right for their Teacher’s Day edition on March 4. For nearly a month, DeGraw and Jones had to keep silent about their time on the popular daytime show, so they held a watch party for DeGraw’s students when the episode aired on April 6. Though the two were not called up to be contestants on the Price is Right, they were given a Keurig machine and $100 worth of Scholastic books for their respective schools. DeGraw said she plans to keep the Keurig at Galloway Ridge as a pleasant reminder of her fun time on the show.
