The London Strawberry Festival Bicycle Tour will hit the road on June 21.

The tour offers three options: 21 miles, 54 miles, and 100 miles. All rides will kick off between 6:30 and 8 a.m. from the Prairie Grass Trail trailhead located behind the Madison County Senior Citizens Center at 280 W. High St. in London. The courses will wind through Madison, Clark, Fayette and Greene counties, featuring flat to gently rolling terrain.

The 21-mile route will be solely on the newly completed Prairie Grass Trail. It will include one rest stop at the turn around point in South Charleston. The 54- and 100-mile routes will include rest stops in Jamestown and South Charleston and feature mileage on the Prairie Grass Trail.

All riders will have the option of riding the entire tour on the Prairie Grass Trail of any distance they choose.

The $15 pre-registration fee includes detailed tour maps, identification number, support services, food stops, and membership to the Friends of Madison County Parks & Trails (FMCPT). Food items provided at rest stops include granola bars, fresh fruit, water, and sports drinks.

The 54- and 100-mile routes pass through small communities where there are facilities and items for purchase. FMCPT  will sell t-shirts for $15.

All registrations received after June 14, including the day of the tour, will be $20. On the day of the tour, sign-in will take place at the Prairie Grass Trail trailhead.
