Plain City Public Library, in partnership with the village of Plain City, announces the installation of a StoryWalk at Plain City’s Pastime Park.

The StoryWalk is an innovative way for children and adults to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Pages from a children’s book are displayed in cases installed along the walking path at Pastime Park. As park visitors stroll down the trail, they are directed to the next page in the story.

The StoryWalk installation was made possible through grant funds secured by the Plain City Parks and Recreation Department and a donation from the Friends of the Plain City Public Library.

The StoryWalk project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont, and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk is a registered service mark owned by Ferguson.

Pastime Park is located at 270 N. Chillicothe St., Plain City. The walking trail is located next to the playground at the main entrance to the park.
