The strong wind and rain storm on April 3 damaged trees and property in the area, including breaking off a large part of this old tree along Saltzgaber Road in Madison Township. When the tree fell, its branches tore down nearby utility lines. Madison Township Fire Department Unit 181 responded. The road remained closed until AEP repaired the damaged electric lines. According to Groveport Police, Franklin County then will remove the tree.
