Steam Threshers Show runs through Sunday in Plain City

The 74th Annual Miami Valley Steam Threshers Show & Reunion is taking place July 13-16 at Pastime Park, 344-350 N. Chillicothe St., Plain City. The event features gas engines, steam power, live demonstrations, truck and tractor pulls, and plenty of other family-friendly adventure.

Hours are 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. General admission is $10 per day the first three days and $5 the last day. On Thursday, admission is $2 for current and former military personnel and people 55 and older. Parking is free.

The lumber mill, wheat threshing, shingle and veneer mill, and equipment will be in operation each day of the show. The rest of the schedule is as follows:

Thursday, July 13
10 a.m.–Opening ceremonies/flag raising
12 p.m.–Noon whistle
1 p.m.–Steam engine parade (infield)
5-7 p.m.–Family fun night
5 p.m.–Construction Junction
5 p.m.–Twirlers and scavenger hunt
6 p.m.–COSI, Erica Carlson, and ODNR
7 p.m.–Kiddie pedal pulls

Friday, July 14
10 a.m.–Opening ceremonies/flag raising
10:30 a.m.–Tractor ride (line up near Youth Building)
12 p.m.–Noon whistle
1 p.m.–Steam engine parade (infield)
2 p.m.–Dean Bohl (balloon artist)
6 p.m.–Grand parade (line up starts at 4)

Saturday, July 15
10 a.m.–Opening ceremonies/flag raising
10 a.m.–Model T Show
12 p.m.–Noon whistle
1 p.m.–Steam engine parade (infield)
6 p.m.–OSTPA Truck & Tractor Pull
Dark–Spark show (infield)

Sunday, July 16
8 a.m.–Church service (Youth Building)
10 a.m.–Opening ceremonies/flag raising
10 a.m.–Cruise-In with Ohio Vintage Truck Collectors
12 p.m.–Noon whistle
1 p.m.–Kiddie tractor pull
2 p.m.–Kiddie tractor pull-off (qualify by winning previous pulls)
3 p.m.–Show ends
