Southeastern High School’s drama department will bring to life “The Addams Family,” a weirdly wonderful, devilishly delightful musical comedy March 6-7.
“The Addams Family” tells the story of every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. If that weren’t upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he has never done before: keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything changes for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
Show times are March 6 at 7 p.m. and March 7 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are available for reserved seating by contacting a director or cast member. Adult tickets are $6; student tickets are $4.
