Southeastern continues league domination

The Southeastern Lady Trojans hosted the Madison-Plains Eagles in varsity softball action on April 29. The Trojans continued their domination of the Ohio Heritage Conference South Division with an 11-1 victory, bringing their record to 11-2 in the conference and 18-2 overall. Madison-Plains’ record now stands at 3-9 in the conference and 7-14 overall.

Shelby Grim pitched her way to an 11-1 victory over Madison-Plains. The Southeastern sophomore sits at the top of the league with 16 wins so far this season.

Southeastern sophomore Autumn Jones swings for what ends up being a double. Jones leads the league in RBIs with 48 and in homeruns with 10.

Southeastern junior Avery Shepherd connects for a homer in the fourth inning. Shepherd holds the top spot in the Ohio Heritage Conference for batting average with 0.642. Her teammate, Autumn Jones, is not far behind in fourth with 0.536.
