The first significant snowfall of 2019 blanketed Groveport in 5 inches of snow on Jan. 12 and 13. However, these colorful flowers, created by art students at Groveport Elementary, defiantly poke up through the snow in the front lawn of the school delivering the promise that spring will come.
With the snow comes the winter chore of shoveling sidewalks and driveways. Pictured here, Chad Grashel works to clear his driveway.
The always peaceful Groveport Cemetery seemed even more serene under a cover of snow.
Walnut Creek made a soft, rippling sound as it flowed under the snow covered golf cart bridge at The Links at Groveport Golf Course.
The snow gives the trees the appearance of being sugar coated on this view looking west from Groveport Town Hall on Main Street.
