| The "Giving Thanks Choral Concert," held Nov. 23 at Groveport Madison High School, raised more than $1,000 for Groveport Madison Human Needs. The concert featured 60 choir members from Groveport United Methodist Church, Groveport Zion Lutheran Church, St. Mary Catholic Church, and First Baptist Church of Groveport. Each choir performed a song or hymn and the whole choir performed two songs together, then ended with two sing-alongs with the audience participating. Plans are to make this an annual event with the possibility of adding an additional choral benefit mid-year. |
