Senior Fair Week activities at center in London

The Madison County Senior Center, 280 W. High St., London, is celebrating National Senior Citizens Week. The center is located at 280 W. High St., London. Call (740) 852-3001.

Monday, May 18: “Wear Your Favorite Hat Day,” all day; Chair volleyball, 9 a.m.; crochet, knitting and needle crafts, 9:30 a.m.; sitting exercise and strengthening, 10:30 a.m.; euchre, 1 p.m.

Tuesday, May 19: Walking club, 8 a.m.; bowling at Madison Lanes, 10 a.m.; tai chi, 4:30 p.m.; cards, 5 p.m.; line dancing, 6.

Senior Fair Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vendors and agencies that will be on hand for Senior Fair Day include:

Wednesday, May 20: “Bring a Friend for Lunch Day;” chair volleyball, 9 a.m.; woodcarvers, 9:30 a.m.; aerobics and beginner line dancing, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:15 p.m.; chair yoga, 1:15 p.m.; public bingo, 7 p.m.

Thursday, May 21: “Mismatch Clothes Day,” all day; walking club, 8 a.m.; chair volleyball, 9 a.m.; fun bingo, 9 a.m.; ice cream social during lunchtime.

Friday, May 22: Painting class, 9 a.m. At 10 a.m., the Chimes group will perform at Arbors. At 1:30 p.m., the senior center staff will play the Spring Chickens chair volleyball team.
