Halloween may be a few more weeks away but that didn’t stop the greater southwest community from coming out to Georgesville on Oct. 5 to get an early spooky fix at Scare at the Square. A notable feature at the popular event is the haunted tour near the wooded area around Rush Street. Those who were brave enough to enter the deep, dark woods were treated to sights such as werewolves, chainsaw wielding maniacs and brain-loving zombies like Mary Hudson (left) and Cordy Long.
Ghostbuster Zachary Nicodemus, of Grove City, tries his hand at ring toss from a saddle. Fortunately for him, the saddle was not haunted.
Kaiden Courtney, 10, checks out the Grim Reaper on ‘display.’ Shortly thereafter, the reaper attempted to grab him and steal his soul.
