Roughriders’ season comes to close at state semi-finals

West Jefferson fell 35-13 to Coldwater in the Div. VI state semi-finals at Piqua on Nov. 27. The Roughriders finished the season with a 13-2 record.

West Jefferson’s Adam Fry returns the opening kickoff against Coldwater for a nice return. Fry had four kickoff returns for 189 yards, a 47.2-yard average. He also had 11 tackles on the night.

West Jefferson’s Tyler Buescher fires a pass downfield against Coldwater. Buescher completed 16 of 26 passes for 97 yards and one touchdown.

West Jefferson running back Hayden Salyer finds a hole against Coldwater. Salyer rushed for 67 yards on 17 carries.

Jarrett Simmons and Canyon Schneider head back to the offensive huddle on the last drive of the game for West Jefferson which resulted in a touchdown.
