The London Rotary Club is pleased to honor senior Kylee Long as London High School’s December Student of the Month.

Long has been a member of the cheerleading team for four years, cheering at the varsity level her junior and senior years for football and basketball. She also is a member of the competition team. She has earned second-team and first-team honors during her cheer career.
When asked to name a school staff member who has inspired her, Long cited Spanish teacher, Janelle Wilson.
“She is always positive and helpful. She always supports us with everything we do,” Long said.
About Long, Wilson commented, “I have had the opportunity to have Kylee Long in class for both Spanish II and Spanish IV. Throughout these years, I have watched her grow and succeed into the driven and dedicated student that she is. Kylee is clearly a leader and volunteers often in class. I know she is dependable and really have enjoyed watching her Spanish skills blossom. She will go far in life because of her desire to succeed, and I am excited to see what the future holds for her.”
After graduation, Long hopes to attend a four-year university to major in neuroscience on a pre-med track. She is the daughter of Kevin and Nicole Long of London.
