Rose Hill Elementary holds own Relay for Life Rose Hill Elementary students Fardosa Abdullahi and Annalese Roach, wearing signs designating their participation in The Relay for Life, hold hands as they make their way through the maze that was part of the school’s first-ever kick-off for the fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Students raised $450. Other students give each other high-fives as they start. As part of the walk, which was held during the school day, students meandered through a route featuring signs with healthy advice such as "Avoid the mid-day sun," "Skin cancer is real," "Eat five fruits and vegetables a day," and "Exercise 60 minutes a day." |
