Visitors to the new Reynoldsburg city Web site will see a fresh new look.

The city has replaced it’s old Web site of at least seven years with one that city officials say will be easier to navigate and offer more information.

"The old design was not very user-friendly, which lead to comments from public and staff," Director of Human Resources Megan Kish said.

New to the Web site, residents can sign up for city alerts, get updated news events, receive notification of code and policy changes and read comments from Mayor Brad McCloud.

The site also links readers to a visitors guide that includes points of interest, food and lodging options and a calendar of events.

City code ordinances are posted on the site, and residents can learn how to obtain some of the different permits available.

There also is contact information for each of the city departments and offices – some of which include e-mail addresses for elected officials.

The city also is working on adding online forms, Kish said.

"I think it will always be a work in progress," she said. "As things change, we will update the site."
