The structure at 110 W. High St. in London, formerly a Rax Restaurant, was destroyed by fire on Sept. 1, 2008.
Until the mid-1970s, the property was home to London Lumber and Coal (pictured here). Later, a Burger Chef was built on the site. Following Burger Chef’s run, another restaurant operated for a short time. Rax was the last restaurant to occupy the space. The building has been vacant for the last couple of years.
