Remember When: Timber frame barn raising

A group of gentlemen construct a timber frame barn with wooden pegs. The date on the picture is August 1900. The gentlemen identified by last name are Fox, Cartzdafner, Purcell, Smith, Gales, Chandler, Penn, Bridgman, Placier and Bunch. (The gentleman on the far right is unidentified.)

London Lumber and Coal was located on West High Street in London at the former Rax location. The barn was at the rear of the lot, close to the railroad tracks.
