| This picture shows a sawmill operation that was somewhere in Madison County. The men seated on the wagons were teamsters and are unidentified. The men standing on the ground are: Len Peters, Sam Hauntz, Fred Thiel, R. W. Jones, Dave Baker, Lester Peters, John Thiel and M.B. Cannon. This picture was taken sometime before World War I. Fred Thiel was killed in action in Germany in September 1918. This picture came from the Cannon estate.
