Remember When: London hosted Stay Home and Live festival in 1960

London’s answer to the gasoline shortages of the mid-1960s was to host a Fourth of July “Stay Home and Live” festival. The event took place on the downtown city streets. This photo, taken by the late Bill Holton, shows the State Theatre and Huntington National Bank.
