Canal Winchester cheerleaders and supporters greeted cancer survivors with bubbles as the survivors walked around the track in the stadium at Canal Winchester High School during the Relay for Life event’s “bubble lap.” The event, held on June 22, raised money for the American Cancer Society. At the start of the event, organizers stated they had already reached their goal of raising $25,000 as $25,121 had been raised by the time of the opening ceremony. That figure went higher as more funds were raised during the eight hour event.
