The inaugural Mount Carmel Red Ride bicycling event was held July 30 in Reynoldsburg. The bicycle tour began in Kennedy Park and included two routes – an 8 mile round trip or a 14 mile round trip. Pictured here is the Harris family as they begin the ride. The family got a late start because one of their bikes had a flat tire, but they patched the tire and were quickly on their way.
