Two Hamilton Township High School wrestlers qualified for the Girls State Wrestling Tournament held on Feb 19-20 at Hilliard Davidson High School. Pictured above is Hamilton Township’s Sienna Sanborn, who won three of her five matches at the state tournament. The 105 pound sophomore took fifth place and is shown here claiming her second win of the tournament by a score of 9-8 over Emily Flynn of Hubbard. Hamilton Township had seven girls wrestling this season and six went to the district tournament on Feb 13. Two of those were among the top four in their weight classes to qualify for the state tournament. Pictured below is Hamilton Township freshman Audrina Pack on the attack during the state tournament. Pack, who competed in the 190 pound weight class, did not get any state tournament wins, but enjoyed the rare distinction of making it to the state tournament as a freshman.
