Members of the Heirloom Quilters Club made 163 transition bags for Madison County Children’s Services: (front row, from left) Ellen Atalla, Pat Kinman, Linda O’Reilly; (back row) Linda Rankin, Greta Call, Terri Ernst, Chris Hart, Chris Web, and Carolyn Elfrink.

Children who are transferring to or from foster care sites use the bags to hold their belongings.

The Heirloom Quilters meet at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month at Lilly Chapel Methodist Church, 8530 Lilly Chapel Georgesville Rd., London. New members are welcome.
