Jefferson Township Fire Department, formed in 1947, is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a celebration at the firehouse at 3 p.m. Oct. 29. Dinner from Ann & Tony’s will be provided. The public is welcome to attend.
Organizers are hoping for a large showing of current and former firefighters and township officials. The department’s 1985 Pierce fire engine will be on display.
