The Prairie Township Firefighters Association hosted its annual flower and plant sale on May 10-12. Hundreds of geraniums, hydrangeas, impatiens, and ferns were sold during the event, which will allow its union, Local 2985, to host a variety of events for children and the community, as well as purchase fire equipment not covered by grants. Pictured here showcasing a few of the flowers and plants that were on sale during the weekend are Station 241 Two Unit crew (from left to right) Lt. Matt Heinlein, Bryan Hosea, Eddie Mussi, Jack Ellis, Kenny Kane and Adam Waddell.
